First-Time Setup Checklist
Use this checklist to verify a clean installation of the OV80i camera and ensure you can begin recipe creation and inspection.
Power & Physical
- Mount camera securely to fixture or bracket
- Connect M12 power cable to supply block
- Verify Green Power LED is ON
- Attach Ethernet cable to switch or laptop
Network & Browser
- Determine camera IP address (scanner or logs)
- Set your laptop's IP to same subnet
- Open browser and access
http://<camera_ip> - Login with default credentials (or assigned account)
Image & Lighting
- Verify live feed is visible in browser
- Adjust lens or spacer if image is blurry
- Toggle built-in LEDs for balanced illumination
- Check image brightness and contrast
Initial Test
- Create quick test recipe or use sample image
- Trigger manually or via IO (if configured)
- Confirm camera captures image and inspects
- Review result in UI and/or output logs
Optional
- Update IP to static address
- Enable password protection
- Add support email or contact on device
